03Response & Technology

Technology should support the people operating security

Cameras, access control, alarms and verification systems are useful when they answer a real security question. Installing technology simply because it is available does not create a security plan.

Security Systems & CCTV · Available throughout California · 24-hour operations

01Overview

We look at how technology fits into the wider operation. A camera should help someone see something they otherwise could not. Access control should answer who is allowed through a door. Alarm systems should create a defined response. Guard tour systems should provide evidence that a checkpoint was physically reached.

Armani provides security systems and surveillance monitoring alongside its staffed services, so camera and access coverage is planned against the same site assessment that determines post placement and patrol frequency, and activations reach the same 24-hour dispatch that assigns officers.

Technology becomes more useful when the officers and supervisors working the site understand what it is supposed to accomplish. Where a client has existing infrastructure, the sensible first step is usually a review rather than a replacement.

02Who this is for

Where this service earns its place.

  • Property and facilities managers

Multi-tenant and multi-site portfolios that need consistent coverage standards and a single point of escalation.

  • Businesses with existing camera coverage

Where hardware exists but nobody is confident it would answer the question after an incident.

  • Residential estates and communities

Gate, driveway and perimeter coverage integrated with patrol and alarm response.

  • Construction and phased sites

Temporary coverage that has to move as the site changes shape through each phase of the build.

03Scope

What the engagement includes.

  • Site survey and coverage design against the risk assessment
  • Camera and CCTV coverage planning
  • Access control and credential management
  • Surveillance monitoring arrangements
  • Review of existing systems and coverage gaps
  • Integration with staffed posts, patrol and alarm response
  • Escalation routed through 24-hour centralized dispatch
  • Incident documentation supported by recorded evidence

  • 24-hour centralized dispatch integration
  • Coordination with staffed posts and mobile patrol
  • Written incident reporting supported by recorded evidence

04Process

How a deployment runs.

  1. Coverage review

We establish what the current system covers and, more usefully, what it does not — the approaches, entrances and hours that are effectively unwatched.

  2. Design against exposure

Coverage is planned around how the site is actually approached and used, so that recordings answer the questions an incident will raise.

  3. Connect detection to response

Monitoring and activations are routed to the centralized dispatcher so a detection produces an officer rather than a notification.

  4. Verify and maintain

Coverage is checked as the site changes — new construction, new tenancy, new access routes — rather than assumed to remain valid.

07Questions

What clients ask first.

It can reduce how many are needed and where they stand, but it cannot replace the part of the job that involves someone arriving. Detection without response is a recording of an incident rather than a prevention of one.
