01Guarding & Patrol
Armed security when the risk calls for it
Armed coverage is not automatically the right answer. Where the threat, property or operating environment justifies an armed presence, the assignment should be built around clear responsibilities, communication and supervision.
Armed Security Officers · Available throughout California · 24-hour operations
01Overview
An armed officer changes the security posture of a property. That decision should therefore be made carefully.
We look at the type of property, the people who use it, previous incidents, access points, hours of exposure and the client's expectations before recommending armed coverage. Our armed officers hold current California firearms permits alongside their BSIS guard registration, and the officer pool includes retired law enforcement personnel.
The officer still has to do the fundamentals well: observe, communicate, document, control access and know what happens when an incident moves beyond the post.
02Who this is for
Where this service earns its place.
Cash-handling and high-value operations
Retail, dispensaries, jewellery, logistics and any operation where value is concentrated, predictable and visible from outside.
Sites with a credible, specific threat
Where a named individual, a dispute, a termination or an ongoing legal matter has produced a threat that is documented rather than theoretical.
Contested or high-friction access points
Lobbies, gates and reception areas where refusing entry is a routine part of the post rather than an exception.
Executive and estate environments
Residences and corporate facilities where an armed layer supports a wider protective detail rather than standing alone.

04Process
How a deployment runs.
Threat and exposure assessment
We walk the site, map access and movement, and establish whether an armed post is the proportionate answer. Where it is not, we say so and propose the alternative.
Post orders and authority limits
Coverage hours, patrol pattern, response protocol, use-of-force boundaries and reporting requirements are written down and agreed before an officer is assigned.
Officer selection and briefing
Officers are matched to the assignment on licence status, experience and temperament, then briefed against the post orders on site rather than in the abstract.
Supervision and reporting
Supervisors check posts in the field, dispatch holds radio contact, and every shift produces a written record the client can review.

07Questions
What clients ask first.
By assessing the exposure rather than the anxiety. We look at what is actually at risk, whether a specific threat exists, how the site is accessed, how long response would take, and whether an armed presence would reduce risk or simply raise the stakes. If an unarmed post, a patrol pattern or a technology layer would serve the site better, that is what we recommend.
